Our chapter has two different Food for America programs, one for third graders and one for fourth graders. The fourth grade Food for America is unique in that not only does it show the students about activities in agriculture, it also stresses the importance of safety. Stations at past Food for Americas have included: tractor safety, small and large animal safety, chemical and crop safety, horses, food safety, wildlife, a general booth about FFA, lawnmower safety and a petting zoo. Educating younger students about agriculture is what this program is dedicated to.

Our third grade involves teaching students about leadership and working as a team. In 2006, our two activities were the dirt cup and circle of the earth. A past activity that we have done was building spaghetti towers. Students had the opportunity to learn about the earth while learning about agriculture.
